STEM Education and Scholarly Activism: Adventures in Scientific Process, Failure, and Critical Reflection to Empower Student Learning Featuring Dr. Brandon Sorge
Brandon Sorge is an Associate Professor of STEM Education Research at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IU Indianapolis. His research interests span all areas of STEM education, with a particular focus on fostering a STEM-literate and civically engaged society and developing a diverse and representative STEM workforce. Brandon has led numerous NSF-funded STEM education research projects and served as an evaluator for various local and federally funded grants. He is a board member of a local private school and an Indianapolis-based STEM education nonprofit. A strong advocate for faculty development in educational research (DBER/SOTL), Brandon is also the President-elect of the Engineering and Technology Faculty Senate.
