Samuel C. Nyarko served as a Postdoctoral researcher with the STEM Education Innovation and Research Institute at IU Indianapolis. His research focuses on leveraging geo-history and contemporary experiences to enhance the teaching and learning of geoscience, as well as promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, he examines the development of students' collaborative skills in teamwork and team learning, preparing them for careers in geoscience and broader professional communities. Sammy actively engages in climate change education projects in Africa. As a geoscientist, he has a strong interest in ore modeling, evaluation, and mineral exploration. During his tenure as a SEIRI postdoc, Sammy contributed as a mixed-method research expert, working on STEM education research, program evaluation, and assessment. A firm believer in constructivism, Sammy advocates for inclusive learning practices, recognizing that diversity in knowledge creation brings us closer to achieving accurate understanding.
