Dr. Angela P. Murillo is an Assistant Professor at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. She is also the Program Director for the Applied Data and Information Science Program at the Luddy School. Her research areas include data curation, data sharing and reuse, data cyberinfrastructure, data curation education, data science education, and distance education. She is the PI of an IU Indianapolis SEIRI Seed Grant (SSG-2019-06), which examines the effectiveness and usefulness of adaptive technologies and educational tools in online data and information science education. She is Senior Personnel for the Pilot Study for a Cyberinfrastructure Center of Excellent (NSF # 1842042), which investigates the scientific data lifecycle at NSF Major Facilities to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the cyberinfrastructure upon which research and discovery depend.
