Gina Londino-Smolar, MS and EdD candidate, serves as the Interim Director of the Forensic and Investigative Sciences program at IU Indianapolis. She is also Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, where she teaches a range of courses, including introductory forensic science, forensic microscopy, and several high-impact practices (HIPs) courses within the forensic science program. Gina is deeply engaged in distance education, academic integrity efforts, and faculty professional development. She has also contributed to STEM education research, utilizing various learning technologies in both online and in-person introductory courses to enhance students' sense of belonging and connectedness in large science classes.
