Anusha S. Rao is an assistant director at the IU Indianapolis Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). Her areas of expertise include course and curriculum design, assessment practices, evidence-based teaching, scholarship of teaching and learning, and graduate student professional development. She enjoys collaborating with faculty on teaching and learning efforts that can make an impact at the course, program, or institutional level and believes in an inclusive leadership model that recognizes and embraces all member’s values and inputs. She has completed her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a postdoc on educational psychology from Vanderbilt University. Until 2022, Anusha was an adjunct assistant professor of electrical engineering at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology and taught introductory electrical engineering courses. As an international scholar from India, she has made United States her second home since 2002.
