Brandon Sorge is an Associate Professor of STEM Education Research at the School of Engineering and Technology at Purdue University. Brandon is interested in all STEM Education Research. However, his own research focuses on understanding the development of a STEM literate and civically minded populace as well as developing a diverse and representative STEM workforce. Brandon has served as the lead researcher on numerous NSF funded STEM Education research grants. He has also served as an evaluator on local and federally funded grants. Brandon serves on the Board of a local private school as well as the Board of an Indianapolis based STEM-Education focused not-for-profit. Brandon is a proponent of faculty development in educational research (DBER/SOTL) and is the President-elect of the Engineering and Technology Faculty Senate.
