Vidushi Adlakha earned her Ph.D. in physics with a focus on statistical physics from the University of Houston. With a strong passion for STEM education, she recentered her focus on physics education research during her postdoc at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Some of the projects that she has worked on include redefining methodologies for solving causal inference challenges in physics education and connecting course structures to students' epistemological, ability, and belonging beliefs in a collaborative learning environment. As a mixed-methods researcher, she is interested in making undergraduate science learning experiences, specifically active learning courses and undergraduate research experiences, more inclusive and integrating technology for increased learning. She also serves as a committee member on the American Physical Society's Committee on the Status of Women in Physics, channeling her dedication toward promoting the retention of women in STEM fields and fostering an equitable and supportive environment for all.
